Technician Career Pathway Conference

The Technician Career Pathway Conference will be held at The Playfair Library, Old College on Tuesday 3 September.

The conference will be from 09:00 until 17:00 with a drinks reception to follow until 19:00.

The programme is currently under development but will include: 

• The new UoE Technician Commitment Action Plan (2024-26)
• Technician Spotlight Presentations
• Guest speakers from institutions who have been developing technician career pathways (including, University of Bristol and Royal College of Art)
• Panel discussion
• Presentation of the Technician Awards by the Provost
• Refreshments (including a drinks reception from 17:00)
• BSL interpretation
• Sponsors exhibit
• and more....

All University of Edinburgh Staff are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The winners of the 2024 Technician Awards will be presented during the conference.  Join us to celebrate their achievements.
