The Technician Commitment is a university and research institution initiative, led by a steering group of sector bodies, with support from the Science Council and the Gatsby Charitable Foundation’s Technicians Make It Happen campaign. Image About the Technician Commitment The University of Edinburgh signed the Technician Commitment in September 2017 recognising the important role technicians play in research, teaching and supporting students. The University employs 1000 technicians working across all subject areas.
