Technician Week

Technician Week is held annually at the University of Edinburgh to celebrate the contributions of all technicians at the University.

Technician Week 2026

Technician Week will be a scaled back version of what we have seen in previous years, but will retain the strong focus on networking, knowledge sharing and career development. Why not host an event during Technician Week (7-11 September 2026)?  Here are some ideas:

  • Host a tour of your lab or facility
  • Organise a networking event for technical colleagues in your local area
  • Arrange a training session for colleagues (technical training, H&S, career progression....)
